Materials & Care

HAI products are built for movement, performance, and everyday use.

Move with HAI

Our products are primarily crafted from birch plywood, painted plywood, and metal, with each material selected according to the function, structure, and intended use of the product.

Proper care will help maintain the appearance, performance, and lifespan of your HAI equipment.

Birch plywood

Birch plywood is one of HAI’s primary materials, selected for its strength, stability, durability, and natural finish.

Care

  • Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.
  • Avoid excessive moisture and prolonged contact with water.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals, bleach, alcohol-based, or abrasive cleaners.
  • Protect from strong impacts, drops, and sharp objects.
  • Store indoors in a dry, well-ventilated environment.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or excessive heat.

As a natural material, birch may show slight variations in grain, tone, and texture. These variations are normal and make each piece unique.

Painted plywood

Selected HAI products are made from painted plywood, combining a strong and functional structure with a smooth, finished appearance.

Care

  • Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals, alcohol-based cleaners, bleach, or abrasive products.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to water or excessive humidity.
  • Protect painted surfaces from sharp objects, strong knocks, and impacts.
  • Avoid dragging products across rough surfaces.
  • Do not leave outdoors unless specifically stated otherwise.

Minor marks, scratches, or signs of wear may naturally develop over time with regular use.

Chipping, scratching, or damage caused by impact, dropping, or improper handling is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Metal

Metal is used in HAI products where additional strength, support, and structural performance are required. Metal components may be coated or finished depending on the product.

Care

  • Wipe with a soft cloth after use, particularly after contact with sweat or moisture.
  • Keep metal components clean and dry.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaners or tools that may scratch or damage the finish.
  • Avoid prolonged exposure to water or highly humid conditions.
  • Regularly check bolts, screws, joints, and connections and tighten when necessary.
  • Protect coated surfaces from strong impacts and scratches to help prevent corrosion.

General care

To keep your HAI equipment performing at its best:

  • Use each product only for its intended purpose.
  • Always respect the stated weight capacity.
  • Check the product and its connections before use.
  • Make sure bolts, screws, attachments, and moving components are properly secured.
  • Do not use equipment if you notice structural damage, cracks, loose components, or unusual movement.
  • Protect products from drops, strong impacts, sharp objects, and rough handling.
  • Keep products away from excessive moisture, heat, and prolonged direct sunlight unless otherwise specified.
  • Children should use HAI equipment with appropriate adult supervision.

Built to Move. Made to Last.

HAI equipment is designed to be used, and signs of normal wear may naturally appear over time.

Damage resulting from impact, dropping, misuse, improper handling or storage, excessive moisture, exceeding the stated weight capacity, or failure to follow care instructions is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered under HAI’s warranty.
