MEET THE FOUNDER
Before HAI was a brand, it was a way of thinking.
For Ali Haidar, that way of thinking has followed him throughout his life: question what already exists, understand why it works, and find a way to make it better.
As a professional athlete, Ali has spent years in environments where details matter. Where centimeters change movement. Where the right angle changes an exercise. Where one weakness can affect an entire performance. Where recovery, strength, mobility and consistency aren’t concepts — they are part of everyday life.
That experience taught him to look at movement differently.
But being an athlete is only one part of his story.
Ali has always been drawn to creating. He sees a problem and immediately begins imagining the solution. A different mechanism. A better shape. A simpler setup. A product that can do more with less.
And then he wants to build it.
Not simply to create something new, but because he believes that good design should solve a real problem.
That instinct eventually became HAI.
Many of HAI’s ideas begin the same way: with a question, a sketch, a conversation, or something Ali believes could work better.
From there comes the process — designing, discussing, prototyping, testing, changing, testing again and sometimes starting over entirely.
Ali leads that process from the idea to the final product, working alongside the people who engineer and manufacture it, while bringing something difficult to replicate into every decision:
the perspective of someone who has actually lived movement at the highest level.
He knows what it means to depend on your body.
To push it.
To injure it.
To rebuild it.
To trust it again.
And now, as a father, his relationship with movement has taken on another dimension — seeing it not only as performance, but as curiosity, play, development and something that begins long before anyone calls it “training.”
That evolution is reflected in HAI.
A brand where a product can belong to an elite athlete, a physiotherapist, a parent, a child or someone simply trying to move a little more.
Because Ali never wanted to build a brand that told people how they should move.
He wanted to build the tools that gave them more ways to do it.
And behind those tools is still the same question that started everything:
How can this work better?
That question built the first idea.
And it continues to shape every HAI product that comes next.
